Artist Submission Guidelines
Overdue Recognition Art Gallery is always looking  for thought-provoking, and exciting African American art by established artists.

About the Review Process
Artwork submissions are reviewed first by the Gallery Manager and a Curator. Reviewing proposals is a highly competitive process as the Gallery receives many applications each year. Artists are selected on quality and innovation. Submissions are reviewed quarterly (every three months).

Due to the volume of request, the portfolio review process usually takes up to 4-6 months.

What you should include in your submission: (there is no fee for submissions!)

• Digital Documentation-10-15 images (digital images 2MB only, please). Please label your JPEG files with your name and a number, each image should include title, year made, medium, dimensions and prices.
• An online portfolio
  
• One paragraph Artist Statement
• Current resume with contact information, including telephone and email address
• CV and Support materials, which may include press clippings, postcards and materials from past exhibitions
