Leroy Campbell is an internationally renowned fine artist and visual storyteller. His art is heavily influenced by the Gullah-Geechee culture of his youth in Charleston, South Carolina. Mr. Campbell spent most of his adult years in New York City as one of its new renaissance artists, inspired by the master artists of the Brooklyn Renaissance and Harlem Renaissance eras. Extended Hands, A Love Story is his riveting new memoir, which chronicles his rise in the art world after enduring a traumatic start in his childhood: birth-defected hands, an abusive household, poverty, and abandonment.
In addition to the signing, attendees will have the opportunity to experience a curated exhibition of his artwork, including Limited Edition Giclee's and never before seen originals.
